Anson Resources (ASX:ASN) announces that it has completed a resource definition drilling campaign at the Crane Creek 32-1 Well, as part of its Paradox Lithium project in Utah, US.
The results from the recently completed drilling campaign have confirmed the presence of lithium-rich brines in the projects hosted Clastic Zones and reinforce the project’s further resource expansion potential.

Initial assays have returned grades of up to 108ppm Li from the 29.6m thick Clastic Zone 43, which represents a 40% increase than the average grades reported from Clastic Zones included in the recently upgraded JORC resource.
However, final results from the remaining Clastic Zones and Mississippian units assays are currently pending, but are expected to provide a ‘significant’ further potential resource upgrade.
The company also notes that results may indicate that a connectivity exists between the Mississippian and Paradox Formation Clastic Zones.
In addition, it is reported that multiple of the additional Clastic Zones are much thicker than the zones previously sampled and included within the recent JORC resource upgrade.
This recorded extra thickness delivers additional potential to add a large increase in a future planned mineral resource upgrade.
Anson’s flagship Paradox Lithium project is located in Utah, USA and covers a total land area of 95km-square which is prospective for NaBr and lithium mineralisation. The project currently boasts a JORC Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) of 186,000 tonnes LCE and utilises direct lithium extraction processes.
With the recent drilling at the Cane Creek 32-1 now complete, Anson Resources announces that it will consolidate all of the recent assay data and samples from these horizons to generate additional geological information on which brine horizons can be sampled for future exploration programs.
