Anson Resources certain on expediting resource update at Paradox Lithium Project in US

Anson Resources (ASX:ASN) reports it plans to accelerate its JORC resource upgrade via test work on the newly discovered historic diamond core at its flagship Paradox Lithium Project in Utah in the US.

The upcoming test work program is expected to deliver ‘significant’ time and cost savings, which is expected to result in the existing exploration target being upgraded into Indicated and Inferred categories.

the program will form part of the definitive feasibility study currently being conducted by Worley

In addition, the program will form part of the definitive feasibility study (DFS) currently being conducted by Worley and will also lead to production starting at the Paradox Project.

Anson Resources also notes that an updated production flow model for the project will be created utilising a combination of historic drilling data and recent re-entry logs.

The Paradox Basin Lithium Project is located in Utah covers a total land tenure of 95km-square.

The project currently has a JORC resource of 186,000 tonnes lithium carbonate equivalent (LCE) and utilises a direct lithium extraction process.

Test work operations on the diamond core are expected to begin in the near future and will be conducted in parallel with the DFS.

Anson is a junior mineral resources company, with a portfolio of minerals projects in key demand-driven commodities.
