Andean Silver (ASX:ASL) is now dual-listed, trading on the US OTCQX Best Market under the ticker code ‘ANSLF’, as of 18 July.
US investors will be able to trade shares in US dollars during market hours, rather than previously operating through the ASX platform.
The OTCQX is considered the highest market level operated by the OTC Markets Group, which hosts more than 12,000 US and international traders.
CEO Tim Laneyrie says Andean is pleased with its listing on the OTCQX, supporting the company’s goal to expand into the North American market by making the company more accessible to investors.
“The company’s presence on OTCQX reflects our strong engagement with the North American investment community as we continue to advance the Cerro Bayo gold-silver project in Chile and deliver long-term value,” Laneyrie says.
The Cerro Bayo Silver-Gold Project has historically produced over 45 million ounces of silver and 650,000 ounces of gold over a 15 year timeline.
Andean wholly owns the Cerro Bayo mine, comprising more than 70 exploration concessions and surface properties for 282km2 of the Laguna Verde district and processing facilities.
