ACDC identifies Nevada gold-silver drill targets

ACDC Metals (ASX:ADC) has identified several targets for maiden drilling at its Mount Jackson Gold-Silver Project in Nevada, US, following an aeromagnetic survey.

The survey outlined three target zones — Pegasus, 3 Shaft, and Sinter — where magnetic features coincide with known gold, silver, and copper mineralisation.

At Pegasus, the data identified a structurally complex transition between western magnetic highs and eastern lows. ACDC interprets fine-scale interfingering between the signatures as possible fault or breccia zones and areas of magnetite destruction associated with hydrothermal alteration.

The company says the results indicate potential extensions to the known epithermal-style Au-Ag mineralisation at Pegasus, which remains open along strike and at depth.

The Sinter area returned a quieter, low-amplitude magnetic signature, while the ground between Sinter and Pegasus is considered prospective due to geological similarities with the known Pegasus mineralisation.

At 3 Shaft, where historical mining focused on Cu, the survey defined a north–south magnetic high coinciding with Au anomalism identified through recent field sampling.

ACDC interprets the anomaly as a possible magnetite-bearing intrusion or contact skarn. Historical shafts are located along its western edge, where the magnetic intensity transitions into a low.

CEO Tom Davidson says the survey has improved the company’s understanding of the project ahead of a planned reverse circulation drilling program.

“The identification of multiple magnetic targets and features adjacent to known gold and silver mineralisation is highly encouraging,” Davidson says.

“This shows the potential to increase the scale of mineralisation at the Pegasus zone, while the planned IP survey will increase our drill targeting confidence.”

ACDC is evaluating an induced polarisation survey across Pegasus and 3 Shaft to test whether sulphides occur along transitions between strongly and weakly magnetic areas.

The company plans to progress geophysical and drilling permits during Q3 2026, conduct further surveys, and rank targets ahead of maiden drilling scheduled for Q4.
