Dalaroo Metals (ASX:DAL) has progressed its licence expansion application for the Blue Lagoon Project in southern Greenland into the final stage of the approval process.
The licence expansion is now pending final approval from the Greenland Mining Minister, following the completion of stakeholder consultation.
Following approval, the licence will extend across onshore, coastal, and offshore target areas considered prospective for rare earth elements, as well as zirconium, niobium, and hafnium.
Dalaroo’s geological model supports the continuation of mineralised sediment transport pathways beyond the existing licence boundaries as a potential source-to-sink sedimentary system.
As reported by Mining.com.au, Dalaroo is currently conducting a placement to raise $1.75 million to cover exploration costs across its Greenland and Côte d’Ivoire asset portfolio.
The placement will cover upcoming offshore sediment sampling, ground penetrating radar surveys, expanded auger drilling, and follow-up petrological, mineralogical, and metallurgical studies at the Blue Lagoon Project.
Offshore exploration will include Van Veen grab sampling and bathymetric surveys.
Dalaroo Metals is focused on building a diversified exploration portfolio for gold and critical minerals across Western Australia, Côte d’Ivoire, and Greenland.
