Xali Gold (TSX-V:XGC) has appointed Ing. Wilder Frank Garcia Haro as exploration manager, effective immediately, to support the company’s next phase of work, amid Enrique Bernuy transitioning into a consulting geologist role.
Ing. Garcia is a bilingual geological engineer with more than 30 years of international exploration and mine development experience, having held senior technical and management positions with several leading mining companies including Rio Tinto (ASX:RIO) and Newmont (ASX:NEM).
CEO Joanne Freeze says Garcia is valuable to Xali Gold because of his in-depth experience gained in his roles across exploration to production.
“From 2012 to 2019, Wilder held senior leadership roles at both the La Arena and Shahuindo mines, where he was involved in exploration, resource expansion, and mine geology,” Freeze says.
“That experience will be invaluable as we advance the project through an updated mineral resource estimate, updated preliminary economic assessment, and into development.”
Xali Gold is a gold and silver explorer focused on advancing opportunities in the Americas.
