West Coast Silver uncovers ‘high-grade’ silver at Elizabeth Hill

West Coast Silver (ASX:WCE) has reported drilling results that identify a new ‘high-grade’ silver zone and extend near-surface mineralisation at its Elizabeth Hill Project in the West Pilbara region of Western Australia.

The project, which is a joint venture between West Coast Silver (70%) and Alien Metals (LSE:UFO), recently returned diamond drilling assays from below and south of the historical Elizabeth Hill mine workings. Hole 26WCDD029 intersected 3m @ 524 grams per tonne silver (Ag) from 183m, including 1.5m @ 1,039g/t Ag from 184.5m.

The company says the intersection represents a new, discrete zone of silver mineralisation that remains separate from the previously mined orebody. The same hole also encountered massive sulphides targeting an off-hole electromagnetic conductor, returning 0.45m @ 2.73% nickel (Ni), 0.93% copper (Cu), and 0.7g/t palladium (Pd) from 154.87m downhole.

According to West Coast Silver, final assays from a 32-hole reverse circulation (RC) extension drilling program have expanded the extent of near-surface mineralisation to the north and west of the April 2026 maiden mineral resource estimate (MRE). Significant new RC results include 44m @ 26g/t Ag from surface, including 31m @ 30g/t Ag from 3m in hole 26WCRC020, and 41m @ 23g/t Ag from 1m in hole 26WCRC019.

“The extension of mineralisation beyond the April 2026 MRE, to the north, west, and at depth, has the potential to add new silver ounces and tonnes in the next update. Importantly, the intersection of silver mineralisation hosted in granite expands the prospectivity of the system beyond a single rock type,” Executive Chairman Bruce Garlick says.

West Coast Silver is progressing economic studies of the near-surface mineralisation ahead of a Scoping Study. Exploration diamond drilling is continuing through the final planned holes, with the company expecting additional assay results throughout July and August 2026.
