Vox Royalty unveils gold, silver royalty development

Returns-focused mining royalty company Vox Royalty (TSX:VOXR) has received development updates regarding its gold and silver assets from operating partners Norton Gold Fields, Silver Mines (ASX:SVL) and Alamos Gold (TSX:AGI).

Earlier last week, Minerals 260 (ASX:MI6) executed an agreement with privately held Norton Gold Fields to acquire the Bullabulling Gold Project in Western Australia. Vox holds an uncapped $10 per ounce gold royalty over the Phoenix and Dicksons deposits at Bullabulling.

The transaction includes $156.5 million plus $10 million worth of shares in Minerals 260.

Vox says the transaction is a material catalyst for the Bullabulling Project, which will become Minerals 260’s flagship project.

“We are expecting significant 2025 activity and newsflow post-completion, with a significant 80,000m drilling program planned and a resource update expected in Q4 2025,” the company says.

At Silver Mines’ Bowdens Silver Project in New South Wales — which Vox holds a 0.85% gross revenue royalty over — results from an optimisation study outlined a robust asset and enables the operator to advance funding discussions with potential financing partners.

The optimisation study results, announced in December 2024, also revealed increased ore reserves at the project by 10%, potential projected production of 53 million ounces of silver, 92,000 tonnes of zinc, and 67,000 tonnes of lead over a 16-year mine life, as well as an estimated pre-tax net present value of $528 million and an internal rate of return of 27%.

Vox says the company is looking forward to the final permitting outcomes in the near-term to progress “Australia’s largest undeveloped silver project to a final investment decision”.

Meanwhile, at the Lynn Lake Project in Manitoba, Canada, Alamos Gold has decided to start construction with production anticipated to begin in 2028.

Vox holds an uncapped 2% gross proceeds royalty on part of the MacLellan deposit, which sits within Lynn Lake.

Lynn Lake is expected to produce 2.2 million ounces of gold over a 17-year period, including average production of 176,000 ounces per year for the first 10 years.

Vox says development activities are expected to ramp up throughout this year, including near-mine and regional exploration throughout the 58,000 hectare land package.

Established in 2014, Vox Royalty holds a portfolio of over 60 royalties spanning six jurisdictions. Since 2020, the company has announced over 30 separate transactions to acquire over 60 royalties.
