Vinland to begin Killick lithium exploration in July

Vinland Lithium (TSX-V:VLD) announces that it will commence its 2026 exploration program at the Killick Lithium Project in late July.

The campaign focuses on targeted prospecting, geological mapping, geochemical sampling, and ground geophysics to advance the company’s 100%-owned project in southwestern Newfoundland.

Vinland’s 2026 summer exploration program follows a review of the company’s sampling database that revealed highly anomalous tungsten, with one sample exceeding 1,000 parts per million.

Staff have collected 11 samples from the same tungsten occurrence, now considered a ‘high priority’ area for follow-up. Samples have been submitted for analysis, with results to be released once received.

The upcoming campaign will include prospecting follow-up on the 2025 discovery of lithium-rich float up to 1.70 % lithium oxide at Kraken West and South, alongside prospecting and mapping for tin-tungsten potential.

Vinland will also continue till sampling across multiple areas, as well as conduct detailed ground geophysics using magnetics and very low frequency electromagnetic methods at Kraken-Killick.

The Killick project represents Newfoundland’s only known lithium-spodumene and pollucite-cesium pegmatite discovery.

Initial drilling phases at the project have previously returned ‘impressive’ results including 8.4m of 0.95% lithium oxide at the Kraken dike, 16.2m of 0.43% lithium oxide at the Kraken north dike, and 15.23m of 1.04% lithium oxide at the Killick dike.

Vinland has also entered into a land purchase agreement to acquire four claim units for a combination of cash and shares, subject to Toronto Stock Exchange approval.

Vinland Lithium is a Canada-focused mineral exploration company dedicated to advancing its fully-owned Killick Lithium Project in southwestern Newfoundland.
