Unico Silver (ASX:USL) has begun trading on the OTCQB Venture Market using the ticker code ‘USLRF’ to advance trading access to North American investors.
The OTCQB is intended for investor-focused, growth-staged companies looking to increase visibility in a large capital market and improve liquidity for existing shareholders.
Unico says the ASX will continue to be its primary market and will remain unchanged.
Managing Director Todd Williams says the trading on the OTCQB is an “important step” for Unico as it continues to broaden its investor base and increase awareness of its silver assets in Argentina.
“With strong support from North American institutional investors, the OTCQB is a natural step to engage more effectively with North American retail investors, where there is deep sector knowledge and a strong appetite for silver exposure,” Williams says.
“We look forward to building our presence in the US market as we execute on our growth strategy and advance the Joaquin and Cerro Leon silver assets to a maiden Feasibility Study.”
As reported by Mining.com.au earlier this month, Unico increased its resource estimate for the Joaquin Project in Santa Cruz by 143% to 45.3 million tonnes @ 115 grams per tonne silver equivalent for 167 million ounces silver equivalent.
Unico’s total free-milling resources stands at 53.4 million tonnes @ 124g/t silver equivalent for 212 million ounces silver equivalent.
The company is currently undergoing technical programs for the PFS, including metallurgy, pit optimisation, geotechnical studies, flowsheet design, and environmental baseline work.
Unico Silver is a mineral explorer focused on discovering silver and gold deposits in Argentina’s Santa Cruz region.
