Tyranna Resources starts maiden drilling program at Muvero Lithium Prospect, Angola

Tyranna Resources (ASX:TYX) reports it has started a maiden drilling program at the Muvero Prospect, located within the Namibe Lithium Project in Angola.

The program, consisting of 6 diamond drillholes planned for 1,100m, began yesterday and is anticipated to be completed by the end of November with assays expected to be returned between late December to February.

Tyranna Resources Executive Director Paul Williams said the drilling program is currently underway.

“We are very pleased to advise Tyranna has commenced its maiden drilling campaign at the Muvero lithium prospect in Angola, and we will update investors as the program progresses.”.

The drilling program has been planned to provide ‘critical’ information that will enable the company to ‘optimise’ follow-up drilling, and for the initial results to be incorporated in a subsequent resource drill-out if this occurs.

After Tyranna completed track repairs to allow access by larger vehicles, the company began drilling the first hole NDDH001, which was collared around 10m of the initially planned location, and the drillhole passed through fractured partly weathered coarse grained mafic host rock consistent with the exposed bedrock at the site.

Tyranna Resources is an Australian exploration company focused on discovering and developing battery and ‘critical’ minerals in Australia and overseas.

It has an 80% interest in the 207km-square Namibe Lithium Project, located in the Giragaul pegmatite field east of Namibe, Angola, and holds potential nickel and gold tenements primarily in Western Australia.
