Tyranna Resources (ASX:TYX) is evaluating other project opportunities in Angola that may fit its broader strategy, amid concluding drilling at the Namibe Lithium Project for the year.
Managing Director David Crook says the company is evaluating opportunities to acquire and develop demand-driven metals, including metals other than lithium.
At Namibe, 11 diamond core drillholes for 817m of drilling have been completed.
The Namibe Project is a joint venture between Tyranna, which holds 72%, and Sinomine Resources Group which holds the remaining interest with a funding partner.
Crook says with drilling completed, mapping and geochemical programs have resumed away from the Muvero and Loop prospects to uncover future drill targets.
“To date, lithium anomalism has been returned from rock chip analyses at 11 locations,” Crook says.
At the Muvero prospect, drilling was designed to provide a sample for future metallurgical studies, while drilling at the Calicatas and Loop prospects were the first drillholes into more regional targets.
The company says a detailed geochemical analysis of samples from the Calicatas pegmatite will give an indication of fertility and ranking as a future drilling target.
Tyranna adds that currently drillhole logging and sampling is being completed. Samples will be prepared in Angola and sub samples will be transported to Perth for analysis. The results are expected to be returned late Q1 or early Q2 2025.
The Namibe Project covers 207km2 and contains the Giraul pegmatite field, in which 600 or more pegmatites are exposed within a 25km long and up to 10km wide area.
Tyranna Resources is a mineral explorer focused on its one project in Angola, Africa. The company aims to discover and develop demand-driven metals in this emerging jurisdiction.
