Tudor Gold (TSX-V:TUD) has discovered ‘higher-grade’ silver mineralisation within the CBS Zone at its Treaty Creek Project in British Columbia, Canada.
Drill hole CBS-26-08 returned 34.15m @ 61.28 grams per tonne silver (Ag) and 0.09g/t gold (Au), including 7.20m @ 201.84g/t Ag and 0.07g/t Au, identifying a new silver-rich breccia target within the CBS Zone.
The company says the silver-rich breccia links a previous intercept from drill hole CBS-22-04, which returned 13.5m @ 54.82g/t Ag and 0.30g/t Au, with a cluster of seven surface chip samples grading between 30.09g/t and 61.8g/t Ag.
CBS-22-04 also returned gold intercepts of 3m @ 2.57g/t Au and 0.39g/t Ag and 20.6m @ 0.53g/t Au and 9.81g/t Ag, extending the gold-rich breccia system 40m along strike to the northeast.
Companion hole CBS-26-09 intersected 47m @ 0.79g/t Au and 4.71g/t Ag, including 24.50m @ 1.04g/t Au and 1.49g/t Ag, extending the mineralised zone 60m vertically up-dip.
Tudor interprets the breccia as a high-fluid-flow corridor within CBS Zone’s high-sulphidation system. The company says the silver-rich breccia discovery at depth highlights the potential for additional precious metal-bearing structures.
The company has relocated two of its track-mounted diamond drill rigs to the Perfectstorm Zone to target porphyry gold, silver, and copper mineralisation similar to that identified in the Goldstorm deposit. Drilling is expected to continue through summer before returning to the CBS Zone in September 2026 for follow-up work.
The Treaty Creek Project hosts the Goldstorm deposit, which contains Indicated mineral resources of 24.9 million ounces (Moz) Au, 148.7Moz Ag, and 3.048 billion pounds of copper. Tudor holds an 80% interest in the 17,913-hectare project, which borders Seabridge Gold’s (NYSE:SA) KSM property and Newmont’s (ASX:NEM) Brucejack Mine.
