Brixton Metals (TSX-V:BBB) has received drill results from the Trapper target in Canada, which CEO Gary Thompson says reinforces the target’s potential as a potentially “large-scale mineralised system”.
The latest multi-element results from all the remaining holes from the 2025 drilling campaign extend up to 1km away from the main mineralised zone, within the northwest-southeast trending gold-in-soil anomaly.
Some of the results include 3m @ 4.27 grams per tonne gold and 11.63g/t silver from 51.7m; 1.50m @ 4.62g/t gold and 5.06g/t silver from 28.5m; and 1.20m @ 11.45g/t gold and 9.21g/t silver from 119m.
Thompson notes Brixton intends to advance exploration at Trapper, as well as the broader Thorn Project in northwestern British Columbia.
“These results not only confirm the continuity of high-grade gold mineralisation but also demonstrate the presence of significant silver intervals across the target area,” the CEO says.
The 2025 campaign comprised 6,272m of drilling across 30 holes, focusing on expanding the known gold and silver mineralisation within the central mineralised area. Drilling also tested the continuity of mineralisation, as observed in the 4km-long, northwest-southeast trending anomaly.
Gold mineralisation at Trapper is structurally controlled, trending northwest-southeast and dipping moderately to the north in the main drilling area.
The geochemical footprint for the Trapper gold target was expanded in 2021 to 4km by 1.5km, with a gold-in-soil signature strongly correlated to zinc and lead. Visible gold has been identified in both drill core and surface outcrops.
Trapper remains royalty-free, and ongoing work will focus on identifying new zones of gold-bearing mineralisation under the footprint of the extensive geochemical anomaly.
Brixton notes the zone remains open for expansion, and future exploration will target both known and newly interpreted structural corridors.
