Trans Canada Gold (TSX-V:TTG) is completing rigorous due diligence with owners and vendors regarding the acquisition of a gold project in Canada.
The company intends to use an experienced gold mineral exploration team to drill, expand, and advance the gold project, as well as capitalise on the current prevailing gold price.
Gold recently slipped to around US$4,440 ($6,603) an ounce on 7 January, as investors locked in profits after strong recent gains and shifted focus from geopolitical risks to incoming US economic data, as Trading Economics reports.
In addition to completing due diligence on the project, Trans Canada is also completing claim verifications and permit confirmations.
The company has a drill permit in place, alongside a historical resource estimate with a technical report pending completion.
In October 2025, Trans Canada examined and reviewed multiple advanced gold mineral projects with near-term growth and exploration drilling potential.
Trans Canada Gold is a gold-focused explorer as well as an oil and gas resource developer.
