Theta signs MechProTech for TGME plant

Theta Gold Mines (ASX:TGM) has signed a service agreement with mineral processing equipment manufacturer MechProTech to deploy two of its Titan GDM3065 Ball Mills to push the TGME Gold Plant in South Africa towards production.

MechProTech will provide Theta with onsite training and full commissioning support to increase operational flexibility.

Mills will be built in the MechProTech’s factory before being delivered to the plant location.

Executive Chairman Bill Guy says this “major equipment milestone” is an indication of Theta’s commitment to commissioning the TGME Gold Plant by the end of next year and aligning with its plug-and-play construction model.

“The comprehensive circuit package, including two high-performance ball mills, integrated feed systems, and containerised (Motor Control Centre) MCC panels, will be manufactured and delivered within 25 weeks,” Guy says.

“Importantly, the mill comes with a performance guarantee and includes full commissioning support, onsite training, and a robust service level agreement — ensuring operational readiness and reliability from day one.

“This partnership with MechProTech strengthens Theta’s execution capability and reinforces its strategic pathway to first gold production.”

As reported by Mining.com.au, Theta recently raised US$33.9 million ($51.85 million) through an equity and debt financing package to cover construction costs at the project.

Theta Gold Mines is a gold developer focused on unlocking potential in the Eastern Transvaal Gold Fields in South Africa.
