Thesis launches 20,000m drilling campaign at Lawyers-Ranch

Thesis Gold & Silver (TSX-V:TAU) has launched its 2026 exploration and project advancement programs at the Lawyers-Ranch project in British Columbia’s Toodoggone mining district.

The program covers approximately 20,000m of drilling, which includes 12,000m of exploration drilling at Ranch and Ranch East alongside an estimated 8,000m of geotechnical, hydrogeological, metallurgical, and geochemical drilling.

Thesis’ 2026 campaign is geared towards completing a Feasibility Study for Lawyers-Ranch before the end of 2027, expanding ‘high-grade’ mineralisation at the project, and advancing district scale porphyry targets across the broader land package.

The upcoming Feasibility Study builds on a Prefeasibility Study (PFS) announced in December 2025, which outlined a combined open-pit and underground operation with a 15-year mine life.

The PFS delivered an after-tax net present value of US$2.37 billion ($3.37 billion), an after-tax internal rate of return of 54.4%, and a payback period of 1.1 years.

President and CEO Ewan Webster says with a “very positive” PFS and environmental assessment underway, 2026 is a “very important year” for Lawyers-Ranch.

“This year’s program is designed to support multiple value drivers for the project, including key engineering and technical studies supporting the feasibility study, expansion of known high-grade gold mineralisation at Ranch, and continued evaluation of the significant porphyry potential across our broader land package,” Webster says.

The 12,000m exploration drilling at Ranch will test new epithermal gold targets, expand existing mineralised zones, and evaluate deeper porphyry targets.

There will also be follow-up drilling at the Steve zone, which will build on 2025 results that intersected 38m @ 3.62 grams per tonne gold within a broad mineralised envelope.

Thesis will also advance two porphyry targets identified in 2025.

Meanwhile, the 8,000m technical drilling program will deliver key data for mine design, pit-slope optimisation, underground development planning, water management, and process plant design.

The company is targeting an environmental assessment decision for the program in early 2029.

Thesis Gold & Silver is a precious metals development company advancing its 100%-owned  Lawyers-Ranch GoldSilver Project in British Columbia.
