Terra Clean Energy (CSE:TCEC) has acquired and digitised a collection of historical exploration data from its Marysvale Uranium Mines Project to support an upcoming drill program.
The property is located within the Marysvale Uranium District in Central Utah, US, an area that historically produced 1.33 million pounds of uranium oxide at an average grade of 0.22%, according to the company.
The Prospector and Freedom mines were among the district’s most significant uranium producers, accounting for a substantial portion of its historical output.
The newly acquired dataset includes thousands of feet of drill logs, underground geological mapping, production records, assay certificates, geochemical data, mine plans, level maps, cross-sections, and technical reports generated by previous operators.
Terra Clean believes the information demonstrates that historical mining focused on only a portion of the known mineralised system, highlighting opportunities to target potential extensions.
The company has compiled the data into a comprehensive three-dimensional geological model using modern exploration software. Combined with recently completed airborne radiometric and photogrammetric surveys, the model will be used to generate targets for the upcoming drill campaign.
“Acquiring and digitising this extensive historical dataset is a major milestone in advancing the Marysvale Uranium Mines Project,” CEO Greg Cameron says.
“By incorporating this data into a modern 3D model, we now have a much stronger technical foundation for targeting extensions of known mineralisation and planning our upcoming drill program.”
Terra Clean is currently selecting and permitting locations for ground trenching and approximately 2,500m of core drilling this US summer.
