TechGen Metals (ASX:TG1) has begun a maiden lithium reverse circulation drilling program at its wholly owned Ida Valley Lithium and Gold Project in Western Australia.
Ida Valley sits 50km north along strike from Delta Lithium’s (ASX:DLI) Mt Ida Lithium deposit and 100km south of Liontown Resources’ (ASX:LTR) Kathleen Valley deposit.
Managing Director Ashley Hood says the company’s maiden lithium reverse circulation campaign is primarily testing two prominent soils lithium-caesium-tantalum anomalies at the Central target and the Northwest target.
“Both of which have been independently modelled as priority one targets,” he says.
Ida Valley has been subject to previous soil sampling surveys and reverse circulation drilling targeting gold mineralisation along the Ida Fault.
TechGen Metals is a junior explorer that wields a portfolio of gold and base metals projects across Western Australia and New South Wales.
These assets include the Station Creek, Mt Boggola, North Nifty, Ida Valley, and El Donna projects in Western Australia, as well as the John Bull Project in New South Wales.
