TechGen Metals (ASX:TG1) reports that it has started an airborne magnetic and radiometric survey at its 100% owned Narryer Ni-Cu-PGE Project in Western Australia.
The 1,800-line kilometre airborne and radiometric survey has commenced to cover the 25km extent of recently identified mafic-ultramafic intrusive complex at the project, which was recently confirmed by rock chip sampling activities.
It is believed that the results of this survey will assist with targeting areas of interest for magmatic Ni-Cu-PGE exploration activities that are scheduled to begin in the coming weeks.

The company also notes that the targeted mafic-ultramafic intrusive complex has not been previously explored, however airborne magnetics have highlighted a key dome feature (Narryer Dome) with a structural control.
It is the company’s hope that results will better define the geology of the Narryer Dome complex, which has already been interpreted by the company to be 5km x 3km in size.
Survey and final processing of data is expected to be completed by mid-October.

The Narryer Project is located about 650km north of Western Australia’s capital city of Perth and comprises two exploration licences, that are 100% owned by TechGen, and cover a total combined land holding of 380km-square.
The project is situated on the western edge of the Archean-aged Yilgarn Craton, which represents an emerging under-explored Ni-Cu-PGE province that covers an area of 1,200km x 100km and is host to the Julimar Ni-Cu-PGE deposit, discovered in March 2020 by Chalice Mining (ASX:CHN).
With the airborne and radiometric survey now underway, TechGen announces that it remains focused on targeting magmatic nickel-copper-PGE sulphide mineralisation within this emerging, prospective region.
