Strategic Energy Resources’ (ASX:SER) non-executive director Anthony McIntosh has resigned effective immediately, to focus on other business activities.
The company’s secretary Mathew Watkins has been appointed for an interim period as non-executive director.
Strategic Energy says due to the timing of the board changes, Watkins will retire at the annual general meeting (AGM), scheduled to be held on 18 November 2025. To ensure continuity, he will be re-appointed to the board following the AGM.
Executive Chairman Stuart Rechner thanks McIntosh for his service, particularly his knowledge, networks, and experience in business strategy, investor relations, and capital markets.
“Anthony has been instrumental in getting the company into its exciting current position, where we will deliver 12 months of newsflow from drilling programs at our four key copper-gold projects in Queensland,” Rechner says.
Strategic Energy Resources is an Australian explorer focused on discoveries prospective for copper in Queensland.
