Starcore ‘cashed up’ after strong FY2025

Starcore International Mines (TSX:SAM) recorded C$32.2 million in gold and silver sales over the past 12 months has boosted the company’s balance sheet with C$3.1 million ($3.45 million) cash on hand and a further C$2.5 million in working capital.

CEO Robert Eadie says the company finished FY2025 with C$6.3 million for the year. 

“With the carbon circuit testing being completed and recently announced acquisitions, we are looking forward to the coming fiscal year,” Eadie says. 

During Q4 FY25, Starcore produced 2,342 ounces of gold, totalling 8,916 ounces for the full financial year. 

Mine operating cash costs totalled US$1,936 per equivalent-ounce for the year and US$1,888 per equivalent-ounce for Q4 2025. Meanwhile, the all-in sustain costs totalled US$2,662 per equivalent-ounce for the year. 

Starcore produces gold and silver at the San Martin Mine in Mexico. The mine, which covers 5,000 hectares, has been in operation since 1993 at 350 tonnes per day and currently operates at 850 tonnes per day. 

The mine is an underground epithermal deposit with gold quartz based limestone and has an average gold grade of 2.31 grams and 18 grams of silver.
