SPC Nickel (TSX-V:SPC) CEO Grant Mourre says the company is positioning itself for a focused and effective 2027 drilling campaign at the Muskox Project in Canada through its Canadian summer field season.
“Our 2026 field programs are focused on converting strong geophysical responses into ranked, drill-ready targets, and are intended to reduce risk and increase the probability of success in 2027,” Mourre says.
The program is focused on three complementary priorities: a deep-penetrating ground magnetotelluric survey, a ground electromagnetic survey, and archaeological and field mapping programs.
Together, these activities will refine the results of a 2025 airborne survey to define targets along the 125km Muskox Intrusion.
As part of the field program, phase two of the ground electromagnetic survey is expected to begin in mid-August 2026. The survey will continue to test high-priority targets generated by the 2025 airborne survey.
The Muskox Project is an exploration-stage asset considered prospective for copper, nickel, and platinum group metals. The project, covering 49,600 hectares, sits in Nunavut, Canada.
