SPC Nickel (TSX-V:SPC) is focused on advancing what the company believes to be “one of the most compelling undeveloped copper-nickel-platinum group opportunities globally,” at the Muskox Project in Canada, for 2026.
Following the completion of modern geophysics, systematic fieldwork and an expanded property tenure, the company has advanced its understanding of the Muskox magmatic system.
SPC Nickel says it has brought its understanding much closer to defining high-quality drill targets for future campaigns.
“As we head into the New Year, we see several important catalysts on the horizon including the publication of mobile magnetotellurics (MT) survey interpretations from Muskox and the release of our plans for work there in the spring/summer,” CEO Grant Mourre says.
In July, a property-wide mobile-MT survey was completed, designed to map the three-dimensional shape of the intrusion and identify large, deep-seated conductive zones along the basal contact and the 40km-long Keel Zone.
SPC Nickel says this work represents the first airborne geophysical survey over Muskox in more than two decades and the first mobile-MT survey ever conducted there.
Earlier this month, the company announced its plans to assess geophysics data and complete quality assurance and quality control (QAQC) work on results from its 2025 field program at the Muskox Project.
Mourre told this news service that SPC Nickel has a clear exploration strategy for 2026, including further drilling at its Muskox and Lockerby East projects, both located in Canada.
SPC Nickel is focused on discovering Canada’s next generation of copper-nickel projects.
