SPC Nickel (TSX-V:SPC) has appointed Mark Goodman as a director on its board as the company leans in to further exploration across its Muskox Project in Nunavut and the Lockerby East property in Sudbury.
Goodman has held a range of roles in the mining and the capital market sectors, including acting as President of Dundee Corporation (TSX:DC.A).
Prior to becoming a board member, Goodman was previously the largest shareholder in SPC Nickel between years 2017 and 2019.
Goodman says he is excited to join the company at a “pivotal” time in its growth strategy across copper, nickel, and platinum group metals projects.
“The company’s assets, experienced management team, and clear vision present a tremendous opportunity,” Goodman says.
“I look forward to working with the board to help unlock the full potential of the Muskox Project in Nunavut and the Lockerby East property in Sudbury for the benefit of shareholders.”
Chairman Scott McLean says the company is excited to welcome Goodman to the board.
“His industry expertise and proven track record in building value for shareholders will be a tremendous asset as we move forward with our exploration and development strategy,” McLean says.
Meanwhile, Alistair Ross has resigned from SPC’s board, though still remaining involved in an advisory position.
“On behalf of the board and management, I would like to thank Alistair for his dedication and support of SPC Nickel during an important period of growth for the company,” McLean adds.
SPC Nickel is a Canadian explorer focused on uncovering ‘high-grade’ polymetallic copper, nickel, and platinum group metals mineralisation in Nunavut and Sudbury.
