SPC Nickel (TSX-V:SPC) has provided an update on its recently completed 2025 summer exploration program at the 100% owned Muskox project in Nunavut, Canada including airborne surveys and field sampling.
The summer program’s highlights include the first comprehensive airborne mobile magnetotellurics survey and the first modern electromagnetic and magnetic survey in more than two decades, which together covered over 2,360 line kilometres of the intrusion and feeder dyke.
The field team also collected 85 surface samples and re-logged historical drill holes to refine the geological model as part of the group’s work to define drill-ready targets for the 2026 season.
SPC Nickel’s CEO Grant Mourre describes the summer as transformative.
“This work positions SPC Nickel at the forefront of exploring one of Canada’s most compelling magmatic copper-nickel systems,” Mourre said.
“Once our assessment of the data collected this season is complete, we will be positioned to move quickly toward defining drill targets that can unlock the scale and grade potential of Muskox.”
The Muskox project, originally discovered by Inco in the 1950s, is a district-scale land package covering the majority of the Muskox intrusion, a large mafic-ultramafic body.
