S&P/ASX200 opens higher on Monday 

The S&P/ASX200 is higher today (25 November), gaining 44.40 points or 0.53% to 8,438.20. 

Deep Yellow (ASX:DYL), which was the top performing mining stock to close trade on Friday, is today trading 6.30% higher as of 10.15am AEDT.

The S&P/ASX200 closed higher Friday, gaining 70.80 points or 0.85% to 8,393.80. 

Among the top performing mining stocks in this index on Friday were Paladin (ASX:PDN), which was 5.943% higher, and Yannocal Australia, which closed (5.396%) up.

Pilbara Minerals (ASX:PLS) has started the week down, opening 6.786% down, having been one of the worst performing mining stocks last Friday. 

Over the past five days, the index has gained 1.85% and is currently 0.10% off of its 52-week high.
