Solstice Minerals Nanadie Copper-Gold Project in Western Australia

Solstice extends Nanadie copper-gold mineralisation north

Solstice Minerals (ASX:SLS) has extended copper-gold mineralisation 160m north of the current mineral resource estimate boundary at its Nanadie Copper-Gold Project in Western Australia.

Initial phase two reverse circulation drilling returned significant intercepts, including 44m @ 0.52% copper and 0.14 grams per tonne gold from 93m in hole NANRC030, within a broader combined intercept of 112m @ 0.44% copper and 0.14g/t gold from 5m.

Other notable results include 32m @ 0.60% copper and 0.18g/t gold from 247m to end of hole in NANRC029, and 26m @ 0.60% copper and 0.13g/t gold from 36m in NANRC028.

The company confirms mineralisation over a 1.2km strike length and remains open to the north, with drilling demonstrating strong correlation to a large induced polarisation chargeability anomaly.

These results represent another significant step in demonstrating the growth potential of Nanadie, Solstice Minerals CEO Nick Castleden says.

Our first step-out RC drilling beyond the northern edge of the current mineral resource has […] definitively [extended] the mineralised envelope, Castleden says.

Phase two drilling is progressing with two rigs on site, with a diamond rig completing 11 tails totalling over 2,500m of core, while 18 RC holes totalling approximately 4,800m have been drilled. Assays from the first diamond hole are expected in three to four weeks.

Nanadie hosts an existing inferred resource of 40.4 million tonnes @ 0.4% copper and 0.1g/t gold, containing 162,000 tonnes of copper and 130,000 ounces of gold.
