Sitka Gold (TSX-V:SIG) has returned ‘high-grade’ gold intercepts from ongoing drilling at its RC Gold Project in the Yukon Territory, Canada.
Hole DDRCCC-26-128 at the Blackjack deposit delivered 348m @ 1.12 grams per tonne gold (Au), including 164.0m @ 1.83g/t Au.
The intercept also featured ‘high-grade’ intervals of 45m @ 3.49g/t Au, 2m @ 15.35g/t Au and 2m @ 13.65g/t Au.
At the Rhosgobel deposit, drill hole DDRCRG-26-049 returned 74.8m @ 0.91g/t Au, including 56.1m @ 1.12g/t Au and 3.4m @ 4.01g/t Au.
Hole DDRCRG-26-044 intersected 11.4m @ 1g/t Au and 28.1m @ 1.08g/t Au, including 7.3m @ 2.87g/t Au.
The results form part of a 60,000m diamond drilling program currently underway across the project, with six drill rigs operating at Blackjack, Saddle, Eiger, and Rhosgobel.
“At Blackjack, hole 128 has delivered another strong intercept, including 164m grading 1.83g/t Au with a particularly impressive higher-grade interval of 45m grading 3.49g/t Au,” CEO Cor Coe says.
“Results like these continue to strengthen our confidence that the Blackjack deposit remains open and has significant potential for further expansion.”
The company has completed approximately 24,000m of diamond drilling to date this year across 47 holes at Blackjack and Rhosgobel.
Visible gold has been observed in all but one drill hole at both targets.
RC Gold hosts an indicated mineral resource estimate (MRE) of 1.29Moz of gold and an inferred MRE of 3.83Moz across three pit-constrained deposits.
The project sits in Yukon’s Tombstone Gold Belt, approximately 100km east of Dawson City.
Sitka Gold is a Canadian exploration company focused on advancing its flagship RC Gold Project in Yukon, with additional gold and silver exploration assets in Nevada and Arizona.
