Effective 1 July 2026, Glyde will step down from his current executive duties but will remain through mid-calendar 2027 to focus on strategic priorities, reporting directly to CEO Stephen Mikkelsen.

As part of the planned succession, Rob Thompson, currently President, North America Metal, has been appointed President, Global Sims Metal, effective 1 July 2026.

Thompson, who joined the executive team in 2022, will assume responsibility for all global metal operations.

Concurrently, Ingrid Sinclair is stepping down from her role as President, Sims Lifecycle Services after 19 years with the company. The company notes a search for her successor has commenced.
