Silver North’s Veronica indicating carbonate replacement deposit likeness

Silver North Resources (TSX-V:SNAG) has received results which are considered a ‘strong positive’ indicator that the Veronica Project may be another carbonate replacement deposit (CRD) target. 

This news comes after a 2025 field exploration program was completed, with results including prospecting, geological mapping, soil geochemical sampling and hand trenching. 

Soil sampling extended the multi-element Betty soil geochemical anomaly from 450m by 450m to 1,000m by 1,000m – which remains open to the east and south. 

The Betty anomaly is now defined as a coincident silver, ranging from one parts per million (ppm) to 31.1ppm, lead, ranging from 50ppm to 8,850ppm, and zinc, ranging from 200ppm to 3,830ppm, anomaly. 

Prior to the 2025 program, no silver-bearing mineralisation had been discovered on the Veronica project. 

CEO Jason Weber says the company’s goal with the 2025 program was to assess the project’s potential to host CRD style mineralisation. 

The Veronica Project is located adjacent to the Tim Project in the Silvertip area of southern Yukon Territory.
