Silver North set for Haldane’s 2026 drilling campaign

Silver North Resources (TSX-V:SNAG) has closed a C$2.25 million ($2.46 million) private placement which will be used to fund drilling next year at the Haldane Project in Canada.

As previously reported, the Canadian mineral explorer upsized the non-brokered private placement from C$2.1 million via the issue of shares at C$0.35 per flow-through share.

CEO Jason Weber says the financing allows drilling to go ahead in 2026 as well as a follow-up program at the Veronica Silver Project.

“Our work this winter will be focused on incorporating the 2025 data, interpreting it and targeting next year’s drilling,” Weber says.

“We can now plan on starting as early as conditions will allow this spring and maximising the field season in 2026. Detailed plans for 2026 will be announced once we have received and interpreted all of the 2025 results.”

Silver North’s project portfolio includes the Haldane, Tim, and Veronica projects. All of the projects are considered prospective primarily for silver, lead, and zinc.
