Silver North Resources (TSX-V:SNAG) has signed a two-year drill contract with Boart Longyear for a fully funded 2026-2027 exploration program at the Haldane Project in Canada.
The contract involves two diamond drill rigs provided for the entirety of the 2026 and 2027 field seasons. Mobilisation of the two drills and supporting equipment will occur around mid-March, with the equipment ready and in position to start the drilling campaign as soon as weather and the exploration season allow.
Silver North says this is expected to be no later than the first week of June 2026.
Drilling will focus on expanding the Main Fault target. Additional targets slated for drilling include Bighorn – which consists of anomalous soil geochemistry and anomalous silver-bearing structures encountered in teaching over 600m strike length surrounding the one drillhole.
CEO Jason Weber says this contract gives the company certainty of executing its plan for 5,000m to 7,000m of drilling each year.
“With two drills available to us, we now have the flexibility to simultaneously test our numerous exploration targets on the Haldane Project,” Weber says.
In conjunction, the company has also signed contracts with SkyTEM Canada and Geotech for airborne geophysical surveys at the Haldane and Victoria projects, respectively.
At Haldane, the survey aims to aid detailed drillhole targeting by refining the underlying geology as well as helping define the project’s complex structural architecture.
Meanwhile at Veronica, the aim of the survey is to help map the property geology that is largely obscured by overburden and to provide information about the structural architecture of the project area, potentially revealing structures that could host mineralisation.
Silver North Resources is a precious metals explorer, primarily focused on silver across Canada.
