Silver North Resources (TSX-V:SNAG) has appointed Nancy Curry as a new board of director, as the company is in a rapid growth phase following conducting drilling programs.
Curry is the Vice President of Corporate Development of Kodiak Copper (TSX-V:KDK). Having worked in senior management positions with several mineral and development companies for over 25 years.
Silver North says Curry is committed to bringing industry recognised best practices to shareholder and stakeholder communications.
Upon her agreement to join the company’s board of directors, Curry says she believes Silver North is uniquely positioned through its silver portfolio in the Yukon Territory of Canada.
“The company’s recent discoveries in the renowned Keno Hill Silver District – particularly at the Haldane Project, where high-grade silver has been identified in drilling across two target areas – highlight the strength of its exploration success,” she says.
“In addition, the Tim property in southern Yukon, just 19km from Coeur’s Silver Tip Mine, has already revealed high-grade silver mineralisation through partner-funded work.”
As previously reported, the company became fully financed for the 2026 and 2027 field seasons, ahead of an upcoming drilling program planned at the Haldane Project.
Drilling will begin as soon as weather permits, but is expected to begin by the first week of June. Two drills will be onsite for four to five months, with an expected 5,000m to 7,000m of drilling through this year’s season.
Fieldwork will begin in late March or early April with airborne magnetics and electromagnetics surveys.
Silver North Resources is a silver-focused Canadian explorer. The company primarily focuses on discoveries in the Keno Hill District of Canada.
