Silver Mines (ASX:SVL) has received final development approval from the Independent Planning Commission of New South Wales (IPC) for the company’s Bowdens Silver Project, located in New South Wales.
The company reports this development approval will allow the project to proceed to development and production, subject to conditions of consent.
The approval follows ‘comprehensive’ processes by Silver Mines, several Government authorities, including the New South Wales Department of Planning and Environment (DPE), and lastly the IPC.

After the significant upgrade to our mineral resource as announced last week, the company is undertaking a significant optimisation program updating the Bowdens Silver Feasibility Study.”
The Bowdens Silver Project is located in central New South Wales, 26km east of Mudgee, and is Australia’s ‘largest’ undeveloped silver deposit. The mine has a 23-year life span, and comprises 2,007 km square of titles, covering 80km of strike.
