Selkirk jumps onto OTCQB Venture Market

Selkirk Copper Mines (TSX-V:SCMI) has begun trading shares on the OTCQB Venture Market under the ticker symbol SKRKF.

The OTCQB provides an established platform for early-stage and growth companies to enhance their visibility in the US market.

The company will continue trading on the TSX Venture Exchange and the Frankfurt Exchange.

CEO Colin Joudrie says this listing improves visibility to US investors, increases liquidity, and will broaden the company’s shareholder base.

Trading on the OTCQB will assist us in highlighting our plans to create long-term value for shareholders through the restart of the copper-gold-silver Minto Mine located in the Yukon Territory, Canada which is unique opportunity for investors to participate in the development of near-term copper, gold, and silver production,” Joudrie says.

Selkirk Copper Mines is a newly formed company with a controlling interest held by the Selkirk First Nation through its wholly owned subsidiary that is completing an exploration drill program and a restart and re-development plan for the former Minto Mine.

The company is targeting a two to three year restart, aligned with a potential new concentrate facility in Alaska.
