SAGA reports more broad intercepts at Radar project

SAGA Metals (TSX-V:SAGA) has reported further broad oxide intercepts from the Trapper Zone at its Radar Titanium-Vanadium-Iron Project in Labrador, Canada, as it advances towards a resource estimate.

The latest results cover three holes (R-0047 to R-0049) from the company’s 2026 diamond drilling program.

Highlights include 16.3m grading 53.72% iron oxide (Fe₂O₃), 7.29% titanium oxide (TiO₂), and 0.431% vanadium oxide (V₂O₅) in hole R-0048.

“These new assay results from R-0047 to R-0049 are highly encouraging and clearly illustrate how the Trapper South grid is taking shape,” Chief Geological Officer and Director Michael Garagan says.

SAGA has now received assay results from 42 drill holes, with many returning broad oxide intercepts of 70–144m frequently grading between 45–58% Fe₂O₃, 6–8% TiO₂, and 0.37–0.44% V₂O₅.

The company says the latest results continue to demonstrate continuity across the Trapper Zone as drilling progresses towards establishing what it believes to be a sizeable resource.

“This continuity across the drill grid, combined with more than 16,159m completed to date, significantly strengthens our confidence in the scale and quality of the system as we progress toward our maiden mineral resource estimate,” Garagan says.

The Trapper Zone forms part of a 29km² mineralised corridor that also includes the Falcon and Hawkeye zones. SAGA’s team has compared this mineralisation to that of global iron-titanium-vanadium systems such as the Bushveld in South Africa.

SAGA Metals is a North American mining company focused on the exploration and discovery of a diversified suite of critical minerals.
