Rumble Resources (ASX:RTR) wholly owned subsidiary Western Queen has executed a toll milling and blending agreement with Gylden Resources and Kirkalocka Gold to process gold ore production from its Western Queen Gold and Tungsten Project.
The agreement runs for four years and 11 months from when the first Western Queen ore is processed at Kirkalocka Gold’s 2.1-million-tonne-per-annum (tpa) processing plant.
Western Queen ore will be processed in campaigns of 75,000 tonnes blended with an equal amount of Gylden ore, or in dedicated 150,000-tonne campaigns of 100% Western Queen ore.
Rumble will retain 100% of recovered gold from Western Queen ore under competitive milling and blending fees fixed for calendar year 2027. Fees for subsequent years will be negotiated annually with no profit share arrangement.
Managing Director Peter Harold says the company is now focused on getting Western Queen into production as soon as possible, with the first ‘major’ task being the dewatering of the Western Queen open pit.
“Gylden will process 100% of the annual production from Western Queen, forecast to be in the vicinity of 300,000 tonnes per annum, based on the November 2025 Scoping Study,” Harold says.
“Once the pit is dewatered, we can commence the underground mine development, with first ore delivered to the ROM pad approximately six months after the portal is cut.”
Western Queen is expected to produce approximately 300,000tpa of ore for an initial two-year period.
The minimum campaign size of 150,000 tonnes means Western Queen ore would be treated every three months.
The agreement includes provisions for the parties to negotiate the development of a facility to process tungsten-bearing ore from Western Queen at Kirkalocka, should Rumble decide to mine that material.
Western Queen is located 90km northwest of Mt Magnet in the Yalgoo mineral field and sits approximately 180km by road from the Kirkalocka processing plant. The project comprises two contiguous mining leases covering 9.8km².
The company is working on an updated gold and tungsten mineral resource following a 17,500m diamond drilling program completed in March and a Bankable Feasibility Study.
Documentation for underground mining approvals has been submitted, with works approval and native vegetation clearance approval already obtained.
Rumble Resources is a mineral explorer focused on unlocking opportunities to mine tungsten at its projects in Western Australia.
The company’s commodity portfolio spans gold, zinc, lead, copper, tungsten, silver, and nickel.
