Resource Base completes satellite scan at EL7060

Resource Base (ASX:RBX) has unveiled analytics from its EL7060 site in South Australia’s Gawler Craton.

The company recently used Sentinel-2 VNIR/SWIR datasets to analyse satellite imagery at the tenement.

Datasets show regional heavy mineral systems that are similar to those associated with the Muckanippie Suite, such as the Rosewood and Duke deposits. However, the mineral exploration company does not confirm any direct correlation between EL7060, Rosewood, Duke, and the Muckanippie Suite.

Data will be used to help to map quartz-rich sands, titanium-bearing phases, iron oxides, and clay-rich material surface responses.

Spatial distribution and clustering of responses will help to identify zones that are favourable for titanium-bearing mineral accumulation.

Initial work will also focus on reconnaissance mapping, surface sampling, and verifying historical exploration results that previously identified anomalous titanium values in the tenement.

Further work will better define the regolith architecture, material distribution, and potential titanium mineralisation sources.

Resource Base is a rare earths, lithium, and gold exploration company with assets in both Victoria and South Australia.
