Renforth Resources (CSE:RFR) has observed four fine flecks of visible gold in drill core from its wholly owned Parbec gold deposit in Québec, Canada.
The gold occurs at a depth of 263.4m within a quartz-albite veinlet in drill hole PAR-26-149. Renforth cautions that the visual observation has not been confirmed by assays and is neither correlated with nor indicative of grade.
The company describes visible gold as an ‘exciting and atypical’ occurrence at Parbec.
PAR-26-149 is one of two 306m undercut holes completed in August 2026 — the first drilling undertaken at Parbec since 2022. Renforth has finished logging and sampling both holes, with the samples submitted for photon assay.

The company has also extended surface channel sampling following additional stripping and washing announced in August, as previously reported by Mining.com.au.
The work aims to establish the boundaries of previously reported mineralised intervals. These include 10.2m @ 2.97 grams per tonne gold (Au) in channel CHNL-PAR-26-51, including 1.1m @ 5.2g/t Au, and 2.55m @ 8.02g/t Au in CHNL-PAR-26-58, including 0.6m @ 28.77g/t Au.
Renforth notes it has extended CHNL-PAR-26-51 by 3.7m and cut a new channel, CHNL-PAR-26-62, about 15m west of the original location. Samples from the additional work have been submitted for analysis.
A qualified person has completed a site visit and witness sampling to support an internal update to Parbec’s geological model and mineral resource estimate. Renforth says it will report the drilling and channel-sampling assays once they have been received and reviewed.
Renforth Resources is a Canadian junior explorer advancing Parbec, which lies beside Agnico Eagle Mines’ (NYSE:AEM) Canadian Malartic complex. Renforth also owns the Victoria Nickel-Copper-Cobalt-Zinc Project in Québec.
