Redcastle begins concurrent mining at two gold deposits

Redcastle Resources (ASX:RC1) has commenced concurrent mining operations at its Redcastle Reef and Queen Alexandra gold deposits in Western Australia’s Eastern Goldfields.

Mining is progressing at Redcastle Reef, with ore material continuing to be mined and stockpiled on site as part of the planned open pit mining sequence. Work at the adjacent Queen Alexandra deposit has also started, with surface clearing completed and mining now underway.

The Queen Alexandra and Redcastle Reef deposits are located about 700m apart, enabling shared use of infrastructure, equipment, and site-based activities.

Mining is being delivered through the Redcastle-BML Ventures joint venture, with BML Ventures as operator. BML is responsible for funding 100% of mining and working capital requirements through to first revenues for both deposits under the joint venture.

Mining activities to date have focused on the near-surface oxide mining phase within the approved activity envelope at Redcastle Reef. Initial ore haulage is expected to commence shortly ahead of inaugural toll-milling at the Wiluna processing facility.

The joint venture mining operations are expected to generate cash flow in the coming months.

The Redcastle Project area hosts the company’s current mineral resources at the Redcastle Reef and Queen Alexandra deposits. Nearby prospects include Morgan’s Castle East, Sligo, Coronation, South Queen, and Battery Lode, which the company plans to evaluate through future exploration.

The company also holds an earn-in agreement over the Kilkenny Belt, allowing it to earn up to a 60% interest in the project.

Redcastle plans near-mine exploration across the project area. Targeted exploration drilling in the TBone Belt is planned for H2 2026, with field activities in the Kilkenny Belt scheduled ahead of a drilling campaign in H1 2027.
