Rapid Critical Metals (ASX:RCM) has announced the discovery of a new parallel silver lode at the wholly owned Webbs Silver Project in New South Wales.
Following the completion of a 2,000m diamond drilling program, the company has identified a lode approximately 120m west of the existing main lode system which represents a new mineralised structure. Early drilling results suggest the potential for additional parallel lodes within the broader corridor.
Key drilling highlights include the results from hole WSDD005 showing 2.24m @1,115g/t silver equivalent within a broader intersection of 13.6m @ 291g/t silver equivalent from 39.1m.
Managing Director Byron Miles says that these results validate both the company’s approach and the potential that they see in Webbs.
“We said we thought there was more, our investors believed in our approach, and we did what we said we would do,” Miles says.
“This intercept is supporting our faith in our team’s approach as it highlights the untapped potential of the Webbs system. The consistency of the early intercepts gives us confidence that this new structure could represent a meaningful addition to our mineral inventory.”
Rapid has a larger, 15,000m exploration program commencing in 2026 to further define the geometry, continuity, and resource potential at Webbs. They will then assess the potential for a future Mineral Resource update, following drilling results.
