Rapid Critical Metals

Rapid impairment of Zimbabwean assets

Rapid Critical Metals (ASX:RCM) expects an impairment of around $2.6 million with regards to its Zimbabwean assets following a review of its exploration portfolio as part of its full year audit.

The company says it intends to focus on the exploration and development of its New South Wales and Canadian gallium-germanium assets into the next year.

Rapid will submit its full year audit for 2025 with the Australian Securities Exchange by 31 March 2026.

Further details relating to the impairment will be included in the company’s full year accounts.

As reported by Mining.com.au, Rapid acquired the Webbs Consol Silver Project from Lode Resources (ASX:LDR) last month for $9.845 million, strategically located in the New England Ford Belt in New South Wales and ‘building mass’ to the company’s already held Webbs and Conrad deposits.

Rapid Critical Metals is an Australian explorer focused on uncovering and developing silver and critical mineral assets.
