Rapid Critical Metals (ASX:RCM) has secured a strategic exploration licence, expanding the group’s landholding by 26 times in New South Wales.
EL9799 sits across a highly prospective silver corridor between the company’s Webbs Project and Lode Resources’ (ASX:LDR) Webbs Consol asset.
Rapid Critical, which has a market capitalisation of $17.24 million, says the expanded footprint strengthens its ability to target new discoveries within a contiguous land package, underpinned by infrastructure and a regional mining history.
Recent technical work has highlighted the potential for multiple untested structures and parallel lodes in the region. Upcoming exploration programs will include high-resolution geophysical surveys and targeted drilling to assess the priority targets.

Reconnaissance work is planned which will include systematic mapping and sampling of historical workings and identified anomalies.
Managing Director Byron Miles says securing this licence is another step towards building a dominant position across one of Australia’s most prospective silver belts.
“This licence not only adds scale to our portfolio but gives us strategic control over a continuous corridor between our Webbs Project and Lode Resources’ ground,” Miles says.
Rapid Critical Metals is a mineral explorer focused on silver and critical minerals discoveries in tier one jurisdictions.
