Provenance defines Eldorado West’s ‘robust, broad’ target

Provenance Gold (CSE:PAU) has received assay results from diamond drilling which defines a “robust and broad” target exhibiting multiple mineralised zones in the Herman area, within the Eldorado West Project in the US.

The two new holes from the Herman area tested the northern and southern strike extent, and intersected broad, pervasive intervals of ‘strong’ gold mineralisation from surface, expanding the mineralisation to the north and south.

Hole EC-04 intersected 20.12m @ 0.51 grams per tonne gold and 83.82m @ 2.18g/t silver, including 1.68m @ 18.19g/t gold and 0.91m @ 39.61g/t gold.

Meanwhile, hole EC-05 intersected 46.48m @ 0.7g/t gold, including 7.7m @ 1.97g/t gold and 46.48m @ 0.36g/t gold and 10.52m @ 1.82g/t gold.

CEO Rob Clark says the drill results show the potential to increase the mineralised footprint of the Eldorado Project.

“We look forward to receiving further assays from the core drilling program, including holes EC-06, EC-07 and EC-09 extending to the southwest in the Herman area, and hole EC-08, drilled in an unexplored region of the Tyee area,” Clark says.

“The project continues to deliver in terms of both grade and extent of mineralisation and we believe it is still in the early stages of growth.”

Metallurgical testing remains ongoing and is expected to be completed within two weeks. The company began the multi-phase metallurgical program in February, which is evaluating the project’s amenability to heap leach extraction.

The testwork will be used to confirm results from historical bottle roll tests and Provenance’s gravity and flotation tests completed in 2024.
