Provenance Gold (CSE:PAU) has appointed Luke Schranz as the company’s Vice President of Exploration, who will be responsible for day-to-day operations, planning and overseeing all aspects of the technical programs.
Schranz will have a dedicated focus on elevating and advancing the discovery at the Eldorado Project in the US.
President Rob Clark says the company is confident that Schranz’s leadership, focus and dedication will propel Provenance’s exploration plans forward.
“With an aggressive exploration program planned for 2026, Luke’s deep expertise in gold exploration and execution will be instrumental for our company’s advancement,” Clark says.
Schranz has on-the-ground experience working and managing drilling, geologic mapping, and prospecting programs in the western US and globally. He holds a Bachelor of Science in geology and geological engineering.
He has also worked on several large projects including roles as technical project manager at South32’s (ASX:S32) Roosevelt Project, consultant for Kinross Gold’s (TSX:K) Kettle River-Curlew Project, and senior geologist and director of technical services at Scout Discoveries.
Provenance Gold is currently awaiting assays for six diamond core holes recently completed at Eldorado East. Core drilling focused on the new discovery area at Herman, as well as a previously unexplored area between zones two and three in the Tyee area.
As previously reported, the company received seven holes from Eldorado West, which confirmed ‘strong’, continuous gold mineralisation continuing westward in the greater Tyee area, located within Eldorado West.
Some of the results include 68.58m @ 0.67 grams per tonne gold, including 7.62m @ 2.08g/t gold; and 117.35m @ 0.59g/t gold, including 6.10m @ 1.02g/t gold.
The Eldorado Project, located in Oregon, US, hosts a historical resource estimate of 1.98 million ounces @ 0.753 grams per tonne gold.
