Predictive Discovery (ASX:PDI) is capitalising on Managing Director Andrew Pardey presenting today (7 August 2023) at the Diggers & Dealers Mining Forum in Kalgoorlie with an updated Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE).
The $351.43 million market capitalisation company today updated the MRE for its flagship Bankan Gold Project in Guinea, West Africa.
The total mineral resource for Bankan has increased to 100.5 million tonnes @ 1.66g/t for 5.38Moz, representing a 29% increase in contained gold compared to the previous 4.18Moz mineral resource. Of that, 4.14Moz – representing 77% of the total mineral resource – is now classified as indicated, providing a strong platform for the Scoping Study.
Pardey will outline to delegates at the forum today work on the Scoping Study is now ramping up for its completion in late 2023.
The company is well funded to continue to grow and advance the tier-one Bankan Gold Project, with $44.9 million in cash as of 30 June 2023.
The updated MRE for the Bankan Gold Project has been prepared by independent resource modelling consultant CSA Global Mining Industry Consultants, an ERM Group company. The estimate includes assay results received up to 29 July 2023 and is based on 205 damond drill, 62 reverse circulation/diamond drill, and 162 RC holes for a total of 148,275m of drilling, including the results of the close-spaced grade control RC drilling completed in early 2022.
Meanwhile, Predictive Discovery also reports further assay results from resource definition drilling at NE Bankan (NEB), Gbenbeden, and Bankan Creek (BC), within the Bankan Gold Project.
Favourable NEB drilling results received from across the deposit area include within the resource pit shell of 29.65m @ 3.42g/t from 365.2m and 18.45m @ 3.20g/t from 184m.
Deep hole intersects 22.5m @ 5.75g/t from 611.5m adjacent to the current underground mineral resource and 9m @ 6.61g/t from 718m on a second mineralised zone in the footwall.
