Predictive Discovery to develop maiden MRE for Fouwagbe, Sounsoun

Predictive Discovery (ASX:PDI) plans to develop a maiden mineral resource estimate for the Fouwagbe and Sounsoun targets, within the Bankan Gold Project in Guinea, for early 2025.

The maiden MRE’s will be reported following the completion of follow-up drilling programs and resource modelling.

Resource definition drilling is being undertaken at Fouwagbe and results have returned 16m @ 11.16 grams per tonne gold, 15m @ 6.46g/t gold, and 3m @ 6.28g/t gold.

Predictive Discovery, which has a market capitalisation of $587.72 million, says these latest results and an updated geological interpretation indicate that mineralisation occurs in a series of southwest plunging shoot-like zones, interpreted to outcrop in the vicinity of artisanal workings.

Managing Director Andrew Pardey says the aim of the regional programs is to define new deposits to grow Bankan’s overall mineral resources.

“Recent results from Fouwagbe have delivered multiple strong intercepts, further highlighting the potential of the area,” Pardey says.

“Pleasingly, the results have allowed us to refine the geological model and support further drilling as we work towards a maiden MRE.

“Resource definition drilling has recently recommenced at Sounsoun and regional exploration at Argo and Bokoro South is ongoing with the aim of defining new promising targets areas.”

Further drilling is planned at Fouwagbe based on the updated interpretation and to infill the drill pattern around existing holes.

The Bankan Project is located in north-east Guinea, West Africa and has potential to become a tier one gold mine.

Predictive Discovery is focused on discovering and developing gold deposits within the Siguiri Basin, Guinea.
