PPK Group (ASX:PPK) has merged two of its subsidiaries, White Graphene and BNNT Technology, into a single nanomaterials business as part of the company’s strategy to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
BNNT Technology and White Graphene are boron nitride nanomaterials producers, specialising in engineering and manufacturing of boron nitride nanosheets or white graphene.
As part of the transaction, White Graphene acquired BNNT in exchange for shares. Upon completion, PPK holds 49.32% of the shares on issue in White Graphene, versus 48.91% prior to the merger.
Engagements with prospective partners and customers will now observe a single point of entry into the company’s nanomaterials capability.
PPK notes the combination will also deliver governance, audit, and overhead efficiencies.
Managing Director Marc Fenton says the merger was a logical step given the complementary nature of the two companies.
PPK Group invests capital and expertise in high-potential science and technology opportunities with a current focus on nanomaterials, artificial intelligence, and energy storage solutions.
