Power Nickel Lion Zone Nisk Project

Power Nickel to expand Nisk’s exploration target area

Power Nickel (TSX-V:PNPN) is aiming to expand exploration target areas within the Nisk Project in Canada through a winter drilling program which is already underway.

The first drillhole will test the depth extension along the trend of the Lion zone, following up on the copper and precious metals discovered in the 2024 drilling program.

Power Nickel intends to have three drill rigs operating by mid February to extend depth and strike extensions of the Lion deposit, as well as target the known strike of the ultramafic, including 5.5km of strike between Nisk and Lion that has not previously been drilled.

Additional drilling is expected to increase the Nisk Project’s mineral resource estimate and to help understand the project’s connection to the Lion deposit.

The company has also retained the services of a geophysicist to review borehole electromagnetic (EM) surveys and ground EM surveys that were conducted last year. This work will also aim to uncover new drill targets for the 2025 program.

Several holes west of the Lion deposit are the initial locations for borehole EM surveys. These holes will be prioritised when the second rig arrives at site next month.

The Nisk Project is a nickel, copper, cobalt, and platinum group metals deposit located in Québec, Canada.

Power Nickel will be exhibiting at this year’s Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) event being held from 2-5 March in Toronto, Canada.

The annual award winning convention brings together up to 30,000 attendees from over 130 countries for its educational programming, networking events, as well as business and investment opportunities.
